Rise & Shine: More ‘3-K’ preschool sites coming to Manhattan, the Bronx, and Brooklyn

Happy Friday!

Mayor Bill de Blasio unveiled a new $88.67 billion preliminary budget on Thursday, which included some big-ticket spending items despite expected cuts from Albany and Washington. Among those items are plans to bring prekindergarten for 3-year-olds to several more districts across the city.

Also, the state announced this year's "Reward" schools. More than 60 New York City schools made the cut based on having high test scores or big growth rates. See if your school made the list.
