Good Deeds Day was initiated in 2007 by global business leader and philanthropist Shari Arison with 7,000 participants in Israel and has grown since to more than 250,000 “Good Deed Doers” in more than 50 countries. This year, some 400,000 are expected to take part all over the world.

Every single person can do something good, be it large or small, for the benefit of others. Whether it’s as simple as a smile, to joining a community project, every good deed you do makes a difference in the world.
