State education officials to tour four city schools today

State Education Commissioner John King and Regents Chancellor Merryl Tisch will visit four city schools today as part of their back-to-school tour. The schools are

P.S. 27 in Red Hook, Brooklyn (which does not technically exist, since the school with that number closed and was replaced with other schools);
The High School for Public Service on the Wingate Campus, in Brooklyn;
South Bronx Academy for Applied Media;
And J.H.S. 144 in the Bronx.

Above, Tisch met with students at Alden Terrace Elementary School in Valley Stream, N.Y., which apparently does not have a cell phone ban, in a photo that King tweeted on Monday.
