The McDonald’s New York Metro Owner/Operators Association is giving $3,000 to the Urban Arts Partnership to support its Fresh Prep program, which helps students prepare for Regents exams using rap music, according to a press release we just received.

We wrote about Fresh Prep back in 2010, back when it was brand new.  Above, New Design High School social studies teacher Tad Donozo, right, helped coach 11th-grade U.S. history students for that year’s Regents exams.
