Lawrence Lew wasted no time at Saturday’s high school fair in Queens in telling recruiters what he was looking for.
“I’m mostly into mechanical engineering but I like hands-on work,” he said.
Though many of his peers needed encouragement at the fair to go talk to other schools, Lawrence seemed comfortable doing the talking even with his mother standing by.
Lawrence visited several booths and was especially interested in Aviation High School, a career and technical education school in Queens.
