Learning Matters president and founder John Merrow will be appearing in conversation with various luminaries in the world of education this year at the JCC in Manhattan (76th and Amsterdam in NYC).
The first date is Wednesday, September 21 at 7:30 p.m. John will be in conversation with Eva Moskowitz, CEO and founder of the Harlem Success Academy, and KIPP co-founder Dave Levin.
The event, entitled Charter Schools: The Change Our System Needs?, will be a wide-ranging discussion on the role of charters in NYC.
John will also have signed copies of his book, The Influence of Teachers, available for purchase.
