Free "Race to Nowhere" screening and discussion

BCAL will host a free screening of Race to Nowhere on December 2nd.

Race to Nowhere ignites a national conversation about the pressures faced by American schoolchildren and teachers in a system obsessed with the illusion of achievement, competition and the pressure to perform through excessive school testing.

We will provide food and there will be a discussion following the film. Participants include: Dean Deborah Shanley (Brooklyn College School of Education), Monique Darrisaw (Academy of Urban Planning Principal), and Nancy Romer (Brooklyn College Psychology Professor)

All are welcome – bring a friend!
