Restore Education Funding Lobby Day

Mayor Bloomberg has proposed nearly $400 million in cuts to education in his Fiscal Year 2010 budget. These cuts will lead to increased class sizes, elimination of academic programs, and fewer books, classroom supplies, and other basic learning necessities.

Join us on Wednesday in sending a message to Mayor Bloomberg and the City Council:

* Oppose cuts to classroom

* Fund programs that close the achievement gap

* Raise revenue for education and other essential services!

Crucial budget negotiations are happening this week so NOW is the time to speak out in support of our children!
