Monster Mash Halloween Celebration at Brooklyn Children's Museum

On Halloween Night, little witches, goblins, ghouls and princesses will fill the halls of the newly-reopened Brooklyn Children’s Museum for MONSTER MASH, a fun-filled party with music, live-performances and festive activities on Friday, October 31, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 145 Brooklyn Avenue (at St. Marks Avenue), Brooklyn. Children of all ages, garbed in Halloween finery, will rock at a dance party, enjoy a harvest feast with veggies from the Museum’s greenhouse, make potpourri, spice sachets and explore the Museum’s fabulous exhibitions. Solongo Latin band will provide music for the evening. The Brooklyn Children’s Museum, clad in an exterior of 8 million daffodil yellow tiles, reopened its doors on September 20, 2008, after undergoing a major renovation project. The museum has doubled-in-size to 102,000 square feet to showcase its all-new exhibitions and amenities.
